 NoGGano to perform as headliner at Hip-Hop Summit
The first International Hip-Hop Summit, devoted to the issues of the Russian hip-hop industry development and the international relations establishment, will take place on April 25 in Luzhniki (Moscow). First time ever the American and Russian hip-hop stars as NoGGano, Assai, ONYX and Raekwon, the participant of the legendary project Wu-Tang Clan, will perform together at the same stage.
“Raekon and ONYX is known and beloved in Russia, not one generation grew up on their music. Wu-Tang is the rap “beatles”, they managed to bring revolution into the music world, having turned hip-hop underground into mainstream in a good sense. And the sign ONYX was created by those, who didn’t even fond of hip-hop, it was just cool to draw it, - says NoGGano. – The summit will show that our hip-hop won’t drop behind: we’ve got to know much for the last 15 years. Now the Russian and American performers can sing at the same stage. The Summit will become event of the year number 1!”
Along with the legends of the style, the stage will be taken by the new-comers as well. At present, the popular vote is open on the site vkontakte.ru, which consequently will help to define the names of the rest of the participants.
